Full-automated heat treatment line for aluminium

Characteristics:

  • Innovative installation concept with jet-heating and heat reclamation for homogenization, solution annealing and quenching of aluminum components.
  • Modular structure with 2 heat exchange furnaces for cooling and preheating, one heating furnace on dwell temperature, 2 temperature dwell furnaces for each two charges, one quenching installation, 10 cooling positions and 37 magazine and buffer positions
  • Fully-automatic charging with a charging machine, controlled by Siemens Simatic S7
  • Charge tracking, automation and transport command control of the complete installation by the process supervisory system prosys/2 and the automation software prover/2
  • Regulation and control of all furnaces with 2 demig DE-VX 4110, connected to the supervisory system prosys/2

Modernization of a fully-automated pusher type furnace at Volkswagen Braunschweig

Characteristics:

According to the customer’s tender, the 20 year old furnace installation was modernized to the latest technical standard.
The following steps have been carried out:

  • Inventory taking of the old installation
  • Exchange of the old Siemens Simatic S5 by the current Simatic S7 in the furnace installation as well as in the conveyor technology
  • Exchange of the old temperature controller and C-level controller by a current process control system DE-VX 4115
  • Use of the latest supervisory system generation prosys/2 and the automation software prover/2 including the modules 1-3 and fault report via SMS to a cell phone
  • Electrical installation and start-up

Modernization of a fully-automated pusher type furnace at ZF Lenksysteme

Characteristics:

  • Complete exchange of the switchgear
  • New cabling between switchgear and terminal box
  • New construction of the terminal strip
  • Exchange of defective or outdated field device connection cable
  • Use of a control system DE-VX 4115L with a superordinated supervisory system prosys/2 of the latest generation and prover/2 with the modules 1-3

Fully-automated chamber furnace installation for solution annealing and aging

Characteristics:

  • Fully-automated installation with 2 chamber furnaces, water quenching bath, charging machine, charge and discharge lines with refuse transfer stations
  • Enlargement possibility of 2 further aging furnaces
  • 4 independent conditioned switchgears
  • Fully-automated tridimensional charging with a charging machine, controlled by a Siemens Simatic S7
  • Process controlling with a process control system DE-VX 4110 for each furnace and over temperature for each heating zone
  • Process supervisory system prosys/2 and automation software prover/2 with charge related process documentation
  • Electrical installation and start-up
